ALLI B. GRAHAM

Alli B. Graham founded Arachne THTR as a fun way to explore her own work within Charlotte’s emerging theatre ecosystem. Her practice spans original plays, devised work, immersive environments, and pop-up productions in unconventional spaces. Studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles for apparel design, she worked in the fashion industry for several years before deciding she needed to go back to school before the corporate life killed her spirit completely.

She was accepted to Cal State University of Long Beach, earned her BA in Performance/Theater and entered training programs at Steppenwolf West in LA and the Bill Esper Studio in NYC.

She is overjoyed to have found a wealth of friends in the Charlotte community, and hopes they never know the deep depths of which she actually cares for them. Particularly Nicole Cunningham, her Partner-in-Crime.

Nicole Cunningham is a Charlotte-based theatre practitioner, dramaturg, and teaching artist committed to developing new works. With a background in dramaturgy and years of experience supporting artists of all skill levels, she centers her practice on elevating writers’ voices and nurturing emerging storytellers.

She is the founder and owner of Blue Rose Scripts, a consultation company dedicated to guiding playwrights and screenwriters in refining their craft. Nicole also serves as an Artist-in-Residence at Art & Soul Rowan, where she leads writing workshops, facilitates generative movement and devising sessions, and cultivates an environment that encourages exploration and risk-taking.

At Arachne Theatre, Nicole channels her passion for new work into producing stories that unsettle, provoke, and spark critical reflection. She invites audiences to question their assumptions through the transformative power of live performance. Nicole is also incredibly proud to work alongside her friend and inspiration, Allison Graham, in this endeavor.
